As a Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer (m/f/d) you will be at the helm of our efforts to identify suspicious activities and patterns in the millions of transactions that are processed by our systems every month to stop these fraudsters in their tracks. You will work at the intersection of Data Science, Machine Learning and Engineering to protect the heart of our business!
THE ROLE
- State-of-the-Art Fraud Prevention Systems: Utilize advanced feature engineering and all the other techniques from your data science and machine learning toolkit to continuously improve our fraud prevention systems. Come up with new ideas and strategies to stay ahead of fraudsters.
- Machine Learning Platform: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and optimize our ML workflows. Help set up a feature store and build research as well as deployment pipelines.
- Data-Driven Applications: Develop non-machine learning data products such as feedback collection tools, fraud detection rule generators and risk steering interfaces. Assume responsibility for all the tooling surrounding the team's applications.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Drive projects from the initial ideation stage through proof of concept (PoC) and deployment into production. Ensure that projects align with business goals and deliver tangible results. Take responsibility for successful deployments and operational performance.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise and best practices with junior team members. Provide guidance on data science methodologies, coding standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
